The Beach

We drove down to Joe's aunt's house, in Moor Park. It was amazing, to say the least. While we were there, we got to take the kids to a beach for the first time ever for them. We went outside of Santa Barbara, to Carpinteria. It was beautiful and so much fun. The girls loved it. Weston had a high fever for 3 days and then was just sick after that, so he may not have enjoyed it quite so much. But it was so worth it.

Abby was super excited to be running on a beach...she's been wanting to go to one for over a year now

Grandpa Rich and the kids

The girls' cute bums

Hannah still taking it all in

And she thought it would be fun to try and catch birds...she was unsuccessful but loved every minute trying

Playing...

Thinking that maybe that is a little too much sand making her dirty...I think it was right around this point she starting crying b/c she was too messy...she's a little anal about having anything on her

Here's Weston, looking oh so happy and well and loving being at the beach. Poor guy! But he was definitely a good sport about being there.

Abby rolling and making "sand" angels, she loved being covered in sand

Joe's cousin Makenna (we stayed at her house)...she was super cute with the girls, they loved her

Playing in their hole they built, telling dirty jokes...seriously

And it was a great day at the beach!

That looks like a really fun day at the beach. Poor little Weston, but so glad that he is such a trooper.

Abby really does look like she is having the time of her life in the sand, that is really cute. What could be better endless supply of sand, fun sand toys, water, birds, and cousins.
