2 of Joe's little brothers came to visit as you can tell by the previous posts. We had a great time and the kids couldn't stay away from them. We don't get to see them that often so it was fun to hang out and get to know them better. Karsten just got home from his 2 year mission in Guatemala in August, so this was his first time to meet Audrey and Weston. They were so good and cute with the kids and played with them constantly. One day, I think they played hide and go seek with them for an hour at least. Karsten played the piano, and he is awesome, and the kids just sat and listened. Sam got Joe's old guitar that has been in the attic collecting dust back up and running and the kids loved hearing him play the guitar as well.
Since Joe's family consists of 6 boys, none of them quite understand all the things to know about girls, especially girls like Hannah. And people who aren't around Hannah a lot or don't know her really well, seem to have a harder time. You have to get to know her to really understand her fun, overly dramatic, spunky personality. But they did an awesome job and my kids ask daily when we get to see Sam and Karsten again. We had a lot of fun and hope they come back soon. And they were a huge help to me, since I finally got my procedure done correctly at the hospital again the day after they got there, but luckily I didn't end up being admitted to the hospital again and had no side effects this time. The watched Audrey so I could go to Abby's Christmas party without having to worry about her. Another day they let me take a nap and went to the store and came back and made dinner. They were very helpful the whole time. I really appreciated it!
