This year we went to the Trail of Lights in Austin. The pictures didn't make the lights as cool so I won't bore everyone with all the random pictures there that night. We were glad we went but will probably not go again. We had to wait in line for a bus to take us to it since it was so crowded and not enough parking. We were on the packed full bus for about 30 minutes with already tired kids, then it ended up being so crowded we could barely walk through the mile long trail of lights and stay together. It was fun to see but a little too crowded for all of us.

i'm sorry it wasn't a fun experience for you. it's not that exciting for us either, but fun to do it once! sorry, we have a secret spot that we park at that is super close. I should have let you known about it. glad you got to experience it once though!
Here here Sierra, we had the same experience happen to us last year, and so it didn't make our holiday to do list this year.
