Abby's Toe Injury

Last night we were ready to eat dinner and Abby was standing on the chair facing the back of the chair. (I tell her and Hannah almost every day that one of these days they are going to fall if they keep doing that). Well last night was the night. She leaned into it and fell. She smashed her toe in the process and went hysterical for about an hour. We couldn't get her to calm down, she didn't want a bandaid, medicine, or a treat (which works right away usually). Well not last night...she was sweating, screaming, and then started shivering. So finally Joe decided to take her to the ER to see if it was broken (not that they do anything) but he was hoping to get some good pain medicine for her. Well after x-rays, it isn't broken, just smashed. She won't wear shoes, walk, and is still constantly complaining and crying about it. And no drugs either, they got her Motrin (the same dosage we already have at home). Oh well, anyway that was our night, and she did love the bracelets she got to wear on her leg.

These pictures don't make it look so bad, I think it looks worse in real life.
