The Aquarium

Friday we had the opportunity to go to the aquarium with Abby's preschool from last year, Hannah's preschool this year, and a ton of other people and preschools from church. I was worried it was going to be freezing and crowded since they didn't have school Friday but it turned out that I think the weather scared everyone away. And I wasn't freezing the whole time, so it was actually enjoyable. Abby got so excited about every little fish she saw, yelling to me about each one. And Hannah and Weston enjoyed it as well. All of them thoroughly enjoyed petting the sting rays, I could not get them away and by the time I did, Hannah was completely soaked, just in time to go outside in the cold. They loved all the rides and it wasn't too stressful having them all by myself. Here's quite a few pictures from our day.

I was waiting on hold with my doctor's office, waiting to hear my results for fifths disease (I am immune btw)...and I turned around to see the girls like this waiting for a picture. So I had to hurry and snap some, it made me laugh, seeing the pose that Hannah has started doing.

He's not a huge fan of hats but he kept it on for more than 30 seconds this one time and I just think he looks so cute in it. I wish he would wear hats more but I just take what I can get for now.

The shark train ride...so fun and I was the only one who jumped when the shark popped up this time, no one was scared or crying thankfully. Hannah loved being surrounded by the sharks and making sure I saw each of them (you go through a tunnel that is surrounded by the shark aquarium part, it's pretty cool)

One of the last things we did before leaving was the bounce house. Usually the girls love it so much I can't get them to leave and Weston only stays in for a minute and is ready to come out. Well this time it was the other way around. I was fine with it for a while because I was out talking, but the girls got out, had their shoes on, and were ready to keep going. I let him stay in a few more minutes and then sent Abby in for him b/c I was ready to go. Well she decided to pull on his pants instead of his legs and so off came his jeans. He stands up and keeps jumping in the cold weather. Then the socks come off, and he continues to jump staying as far away from the door as he can since I kept sticking my arms in to try and reach him. I really didn't want to get in and chase him. I bet it was another 10 minutes before Abby decided she could drag him enough so I could reach him and wow he did not want to get out and he let me know it the rest of the time.

I have to admit it was fun watching him and watching people walk by wondering what kind of mother would let her son jump in there with a diaper on in the cold.

He had calmed down on the way home since he had my ipod to play with.

And no one even fell asleep on the way home. That was a first!
