Joe headed back to school today...it was sad, we've been so used to having him home everyday with us and he has been such a HUGE help to me especially when the girls were sick. But at least we had a fieldtrip today to distract us.
We went to the firestation with Abby's preschool. Abby loved it. Then we went to the park and had a picnic after with some of her class.
Here is her "boyfriend" that she can't seem to ever get enough of. They were enjoying being cold together. If Drew is going to be somewhere we are going, it's so easy to get her to get excited and cooperate.

the firestation is a total crowd pleaser here - except we don't get those great hats. looks like it was a successful trip!
oh. and i totally hear you on riding solo. brent went back today and of course he has a night class on tuesdays. so, the day he goes back is his longest day - and mine!! slowly we'll get back into a routine and then they'll be done!
You can never have too many pictures at the fire station. I think that the girls look so cute in the hats...all we got were stickers.
That is really cute that Abby has a little crush. What a fun little day that must have been for all of you.

It looks like Abby is surrounded by boys- and there is only one other girl! So fun...to go on field trips. I'm glad it took away the pain/sadness of Joe going back!
