Well this year we spent Father's Day with my dad instead of Joe. This is the 2nd out of the last 3 Father's Days that we haven't been able to be with Joe. We celebrated with him last Thursday night since he can't seem to study when we are around. So my wonderful friend, Mandy, made us all dinner (since her husband was going to be gone on Father's Day) and we celebrated together. They even had matching gifts (ipod touch). Aren't we nice wives? Honestly, I got it b/c I knew he was going to be getting himself one soon anyway and he wanted one so he could study more using it and listening to his class. We had a great night and missed him a ton on the real Father's Day but glad at least we saw him a few days before. 
We did enjoy spending it with my dad though and had steak and crabcakes for dinner and enjoyed the day together. I'm so grateful for my dad and all he does for us and am so grateful for Joe for all he does and is doing for us and the awesome dad that he is. 5 more weeks and he will be done with the bar and then maybe we can be together under one roof together again!! Can't wait!
