Abby's 5th Birthday

I think Abby's birthday turned out to be a special day for her. We had a lot of fun. When she woke up she got to open her new dress (and Hannah got to open hers') and then one other present. The rest ended up waiting til 8pm to open, I kind of felt bad having them right in front of her all day and not letting her open them, but she was great and didn't once complain.

Hannah went to preschool and Weston went and played at the Children's Museum while me and Abby went and got pedicures. This was a surprise and her first real manicure and pedicure at a salon. It was so much fun just hanging out with the 2 of us, since it is a rare occasion to just have one on one time. She loved it and picked out some awesome colors.

After our pedicures, I dropped her off at Joe's work, and he went and had lunch with her at school. But of course he had a present, balloons, and a treat for her when we got there to make her feel extra special.

After she got home from school, she played for a little bit and then we headed over to Chick Fil a for dinner since she got a gift card from Joe's parents so she could take us out to eat. She was so excited to pay. We met some great friends there and ended up being there for about 2 hours...and plus it happened to be family night and they were decorating sugar cookies. We all had a great time.

And then we came home for cupcakes and presents...

Her birthday party was the next day and that will come next! I can't believe I have a 5 year old!
